Born in Salerno in 1981, Sydney Sibilia has spent virtually his entire life explaining his name to people. Over the years, the stories and anecdotes have piled up, and an air of mystery still remains.
A life-long lover of film and film-making, when he was quite young he found employment as an entertainer at tourist resorts, then worked the register at a well-known fast-food chain in London and was a copywriter in Milan.
He then decided to relocate to Rome, where he made the short subjects Iris Blu, Noemi, and Oggi gira così, produced by Ascent Film, which brought his victory at numerous festivals in Italy and Europe. He makes ends meet with promos and short spot ads. Smetto quando voglio is his first feature-length film.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
